    rude staff
    shower issues

absolutely horrid stay! The staff were extremely rude, didn’t even receive my room until 3pm! The shower was a challenge, not enough space to stand. The room itself was quaint, but i was expecting so much more, being overlooked for a canal view was just the icing on the cake. Probably the worst experience ever!

    magical location
    friendly staff
    plentiful breakfast
    slow service

The location is magical right on the canal, with beautiful views and a charming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience enjoyable. Breakfast was definitely plentiful and delightful, setting a great tone for each day.

However, the slow service during dinner could improve. we waited a bit longer than expected for our dessert.

    historical charm
    absence of elevator

Charming stay with a canal view

The antiquated charm of the hotel reveals rich historical details, and we enjoyed breakfast overlooking the tranquil canal, which was a delightful start to our day.

However, the lack of an elevator made lugging our bags up the narrow stairs a bit of a workout, and at times, the staff seemed overwhelmed, affecting the overall service experience.

This place suits me perfectly with wi-fi, luggage storage, and express check-out. On my first stay, the staff helped me with a wake-up call, which I fondly remember. Don't miss the delicious breakfast!

    unpleasant odor
    low water pressure

Upon arrival, there was an unpleasant odor in the room, which made me feel uneasy right away. The shower had very low pressure, making it frustrating to use. Additionally, the staff lacked warmth and connection with guests, seeming more preoccupied with the restaurant than the hotel itself.

    canal view
    sun terrace
    noisy hallways

Had a lovely time here! The views from our canal-facing room were fantastic, and the cozy chairs on the sun terrace were perfect for a quick read. It can get a bit noisy in the hallways at night, but that didn’t ruin our stay at all. 😊

    Perfect spot with great views!

Staying here was such a treat! The room with the canal view was just stunning. Waking up to that view every morning was a dream come true. The staff were friendly and super helpful with recommendations for nearby dining. The only thing was that the stairs were pretty steep, so be ready for a workout with your bags!

    junior suite
    delightful breakfast
    historical vibes
    bathroom space

The hotel is right in the heart of Bruges, perfect for families with kids. Our Junior Suite Canal View was surprisingly spacious and charming, bringing both modern comforts and historical vibes. Breakfast was a delight and really good for the kids. They loved the fresh baked goodies!

In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if the bathroom had more space for kids’ essentials.

    spectacular view
    attentive service
    lack of elevator
    noisy street
    limited breakfast

The stay featured a breathtaking view of the canal from the room, enhancing the experience each morning. The breakfast area was picturesque, with an atmosphere elevated by attentive service. However, the lack of an elevator made moving luggage to the top floor a challenge, and noise from the street could be disruptive early in the morning. Despite some limitations, the comfort of the beds was noteworthy, offering a good night's sleep after exploring the city.
